Underwood Announces Local Town Hall Series, Ensures Transparency, Accessibility, and Accountability to Constituents
WEST CHICAGO – Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) will host an April town hall series in Geneva, Huntley, and Naperville. These town halls serve as an opportunity for Underwood to share updates on her work in Congress, including the country's record economic recovery, the $10.5 million Underwood secured in community project funding, and how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and American Rescue Plan are benefitting northern Illinois. The town halls are also a forum where residents of the 14th District can share their perspectives and ask questions.
"Hearing from the people of the 14th is crucial for me; their priorities and concerns help me best represent their voices in Washington. Engaging with my constituents across our community is an essential part of my job, and I look forward to meeting and speaking with people across our district," said Underwood.
