Underwood Named to American Academy of Nursing 2020 Class of Fellows
WEST CHICAGO—Today, Representative Lauren Underwood (IL-14) released the following statement on being named to the American Academy of Nursing’s 2020 Class of Fellows. The fellows selected include 230 nurse leaders from 39 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. territory of Guam, as well as 13 countries.
“Nurses are at the forefront of promoting health and leading our nation in innovation, science, and policy. I am honored to be selected to the 2020 Class of Fellows, and I look forward to working with this distinguished group of nurse leaders to continue to advance the profession of nursing,” said Underwood.
