WEST CHICAGO— Today, Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) announced new office locations in Washington, D.C. and McHenry County. Underwood's new in-district office location in McHenry County is located conveniently in Crystal Lake off Route 176, a few blocks West of Walkup Road. Underwood's office location in West Chicago will remain in its current location. Underwood also has a new office in Washington, D.C., where she can now be found at 1130 Longworth House Office Building.
U.S. Rep. Lauren Underwood, who was recently sworn in for her second term, opened a new office in Crystal Lake as well as in Washington, D.C., according to a news release. WEST CHICAGO— Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) hosted a Facebook Live Town Hall on the coronavirus relief and federal funding package that passed the house Monday evening. During the town hall, Underwood discussed the legislation and shared how it will help northern Illinois communities. The legislation includes critical wins that Underwood has fought for to deliver urgently needed relief to support small businesses, accelerate COVID-19 vaccine distribution, and deliver direct payments to Illinoisans.
WEST CHICAGO— Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) sent holiday cards to local heroes in the form of digital notes, drawings, videos, and photos to essential workers keeping Illinois safe during the coronavirus pandemic. Underwood collected 136 holiday cards from residents across the 14th District of Illinois.
Underwood partnered with community stakeholders throughout the district to distribute the digital thank you messages to over 120 organizations working in and around the 14th Congressional district.
