JOLIET – Today, Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) announced Voices of the People: A Community Conversation in Joliet, Illinois on May 31^st.

Congressman Maxwell Frost (FL-10), the first Gen Z Member of Congress, will join Underwood and community leaders from across northern Illinois for a conversation on how constituents can stay informed, be engaged, and feel empowered to support our communities and protect our values.

WASHINGTON – This week, Representative Lauren Underwood (IL-14) introduced the Health Coverage for Inclusive and Valued Families (IVF) Act of 2025, legislation that would strengthen the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The legislation would amend the ACA to include fertility treatment and care as an essential health benefit, greatly expanding access to fertility services including IVF and making this essential care more affordable and accessible for families.

WASHINGTON – Representative Lauren Underwood (IL-14) has introduced the Health Savings and Affordability for Fertility Act, legislation to expand eligible fertility treatment and care allowable under Health Savings Accounts (HSA), making fertility treatments more affordable and accessible for families.
