WASHINGTON— Today, Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) announced that $14.6 Million in federal resources has been awarded to help the state of Illinois' response efforts the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The funding has been made available through the Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, which was passed by the House on March 4, 2020 and strongly championed by Underwood.

Educare of West DuPage is a part of a national network of schools partnered with Early Head Start funding to ensure more children in the state of Illinois have access to early education.
