WEST CHICAGO— Today, Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) announced that she will hold in-person outdoor office hours on in Will, Lake, and DuPage counties. The office hours are a continuation in a series of in-person and virtual office hours to be held in each of the 14th District's seven counties during the month of August. The office hours will serve as an opportunity for residents of the 14th District to meet with Underwood to hear an update on her work in Congress, share concerns, and ask questions.

WEST CHICAGO— Representative Lauren Underwood (IL-14) held a virtual discussion on election security and voting during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic with the Illinois State Board of Elections. Underwood discussed the importance of securing elections from foreign adversaries and advocated for the passage of the Heroes Act in the Senate, which passed the House in May. The legislation would provide $3.6 billion in equipment, supplies, and staffing needed to protect the health of voters and poll workers as Americans vote during the COVID-19 pandemic.
